Configuración de filtro antispam en el registro de usuarios

Logotipo de drupalRecientemente hemos tenido problemas con el registro de usuarios en la plataforma ya que se han creado cientos de usuarios fraudulentos o de spam, a pesar de tener instalado el módulo CAPTCHA y la extensión recaptcha para esta página.

Inicialmente hemos pensado en obligar al administrador a validar todas las peticiones, pero hemos desechado la idea porque supone un trabajo extra para el administrador y, principalmente, porque no proporciona una respuesta inmediata a los usuarios. Además puede producir la eliminación de los usuarios al eliminar bloques de usuarios spam.

Finalmente hemos optado por instalar el módulo AntiSpam, que permite trabajar con la comprobación de direcciones en servidores externos. Este módulo permite configurar los servicios de Akismet, TypePad AntiSpam y Defensio.

Estos servicios tienen un coste económico aunque gozan de una versión gratuita más limitada. Finalmente nos hemos decido por utilizar Defensio. Para ello nos hemos dado de alta en la página y nos ha proporcionado un código a utilizar en nuestra plataforma.

La configuración del módulo consiste en indicar el servicio a utilizar (en nuestro caso Defensio) e introducir la clave proporcionada.

Posteriormente hemos activado la opción para que se active en los nodos de WebForm (dentro del apartado node options).

Con esto ya hemos configurado el módulo. De momento en los últimos días hemos dejado de recibir peticiones de span en la plataforma, por lo que parece que funciona el filtro.
